Tanzquartier Wien – IT’S NOT (A) FAIR

Sanja Mitrovic has been invited to make a commission for the opening of the 2012/13 season at the Tanzquartier Wien. IT’S NOT (A) FAIR will take place on the 29th of September as an inaugural event during which a group of international artists present their reflections on the idea of resistance today. Mitrovic’s contribution will stream live as a video produced especially for this occasion.

New project for European City of Culture 2012

Sanja Mitrovic has been invited by European Capital of Culture 2012 to make a new work in Guimaraes, Portugal. This will be our first foreign production. Stand Up Tall Productions is the main producer, along with the co-production partner Teatro Officina from Guimaraes. Concept and direction: Sanja Mitrovic  Performers: André Teixeira, Pedro Almendra, José Eduardo Silva,Ivo Bastos, Sara Costa, workers of the Lameirinho Factory Dramaturgy: Maya van den Heuvel-Arad Translation and dramaturgy: Jorge Palinhos Stage/light design: Laurent Liefooghe

Crash Course Chit Chat in Basel

We are proud to announce that Crash Course Chit Chat will start immediately after summer with its international tour.

ASHOC – one of “The Best Books of 2011″

The publication A Short History of Crying edited by Sinisa Mitrovic and designed by NODE Berlin (supported by European Cultural Foundation), is selected by photo eye as one of “The Best Books of 2011″!

Debate

During the Blind Date  as well as the Dutch and the international tour, we will be organizing the debates related to the topic of European versus national identity.

After the show Crash Course Chit Chat in the theatre Bellevue on 23rd of April – the  first debate with the political theorist Femke Bink (D66).
